Canvaleon for Nintendo Wii U

About Canvaleon for Nintendo Wii U

Canvaleon is a stealth platformer starring Canvas, a chameleon born without the power to change color like the rest of his kind. When trouble comes to his village, Canvas must cross dangerous lands using special fabrics that let him blend into each area. The idea is fresh: instead of fighting your way through, you paint your camouflage and hide in plain sight. Enemies pass right by a well hidden chameleon, while a poor color match means instant danger. It is a platformer that rewards patience and cleverness over speed.

Before each area you prepare patterns based on the colors around you, and getting the blend right is a puzzle in itself. Moving slowly, freezing at the right moment and choosing safe paths become your main skills. The hand drawn world is colorful and full of personality, from forests to enemy camps. It is a challenging game that asks you to think like prey rather than a hero. Players who enjoy stealth and fresh ideas will find a truly original adventure hiding here in plain sight.

The digital shop story ended when the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so fresh digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical disc from a retailer is the honest option now for new players. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so their library stays alive. Before buying a used copy, check that the disc is clean and the case matches the right region for your console.

It earns its place in any Wii U collection.
