Frederic Resurrection of Music for Nintendo Wii U

About Frederic Resurrection of Music for Nintendo Wii U

Frederic Resurrection of Music has one of the most playful premises in any music game. The great composer Frederic Chopin rises in the modern world to find music in danger, controlled by commercial forces that have drained its soul. Chopin travels the world and challenges opponents in musical duels, fighting with the power of his own legendary piano pieces. The story is told with humor and heart, and the idea of a classical composer battling modern music trends never stops being entertaining.

Gameplay is a rhythm challenge built around piano performance. Notes flow toward you and must be played in time, with accuracy deciding who wins each duel. Famous Chopin pieces are rearranged and mixed with styles from the countries you visit, from reggae rhythms to electronic beats. Difficulty climbs steadily, and mastering a piece feels like a real performance. Story scenes between duels keep the journey funny and fresh, and the whole game is a joyful argument that great music belongs to everyone.

A clear and honest word about this musical duel game today is needed. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, meaning new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical disc from a retailer, when a copy turns up for sale. Musicians who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and take the stage again.

Chopin versus the modern music world, and it is glorious.
