New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U for Nintendo Wii U

About New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U for Nintendo Wii U

This bundle pairs New Super Mario Bros. U with New Super Luigi U, giving Wii U owners two complete platforming adventures on a single disc. In the Mario adventure, Bowser flings the heroes across the kingdom and the long run home crosses plains, jungles and glaciers. In the Luigi adventure, the courses return in shorter and harder forms, with Luigi sliding and soaring under a strict timer. Together they cover both moods of Mario: relaxed family play and serious skill testing. It is one of the finest value packages on the console.

Switching between the two games shows how small changes reshape a platformer. Mario plays with steady control and room to explore, hunting Star Coins and secret exits. Luigi jumps higher, skids longer and must keep moving, since every course allows only one hundred seconds. Multiplayer shines in both, with a GamePad player placing helpful blocks for the group. Nabbit in the Luigi adventure offers a forgiving seat for beginners. Challenge modes and hidden extras stretch the package for many happy hours.

Honest buying advice for this bundle. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical disc through a retailer, and this combined edition is exactly the disc to look for. Owners who bought the games digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their console. One disc, two adventures, no fuss.

Two adventures double the platforming fun.
