PAC MAN and the Ghostly Adventures for Nintendo Wii U

About PAC MAN and the Ghostly Adventures for Nintendo Wii U

PAC MAN and the Ghostly Adventures brings the famous yellow hero into a bright 3D platform adventure based on the animated series. Lord Betrayus and his ghost army have escaped the Netherworld and threaten Pac World, and young Pac is the last of the yellow ones who can stop them. He teams up with friends Spiral and Cylindria, munches power berries and takes the fight across floating worlds and lava fields. The tone is cheerful and cartoonish, made to welcome younger players and long time Pac fans alike.

Pac runs, jumps and chomps through stages with a spring in his step. Power berries grant wild forms, like a fire Pac who melts ice, a metal Pac who rolls like a wrecking ball and a chameleon form with a long sticky tongue. Ghosts roam every level in colorful squads, and gobbling them never stops being satisfying. Simple puzzles and hidden snacks fill the routes between battles. The Wii U GamePad keeps the action handy, and a multiplayer mini game collection adds party value for up to four players.

An honest note on buying this Pac adventure. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical disc through a retailer, and copies remain reasonably easy to find. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their console. Families will get plenty of cheerful mileage out of this disc.

The last of the yellow ones fights back.
