Medarot 8: Kabuto & Kuwagata Ver for Nintendo 3DS

About Medarot 8: Kabuto & Kuwagata Ver for Nintendo 3DS

Medarot 8 continues the Nintendo 3DS run of the series, again in Kabuto and Kuwagata versions. A new young hero arrives in a fresh town with a starter Medabot and quickly falls into Robattle rivalries, local tournaments and a plot involving rare parts and shadowy collectors. The two version structure returns with exclusive Medabots and parts in each, and the presentation takes another step forward with smoother models and clearer battle scenes.

The core Robattle system stays smart and readable. Three Medabots can form a team, part roles like shooting, fighting and support matter, and the medal system rewards Medabots that fight in ways matching their nature. New parts and balance changes refresh team building for returning players, while the story keeps a light school and town flavor between major battles. It is an evolutionary entry, made for fans who wanted more of what Medarot 7 rebuilt.

Like its predecessor, Medarot 8 stayed in Japan. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer selling Japanese releases, with the Kabuto or Kuwagata choice made before ordering. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so their medals and parts collections stay intact.

More Robattles, more parts and a brand new town.
