DualPenSports for Nintendo 3DS

About DualPenSports for Nintendo 3DS

DualPenSports is a sports collection built around a clever idea, holding the Nintendo 3DS sideways and playing with two touch pens at once. The game turns that simple setup into seven different sports, each presented in a bright and friendly style. Archery, basketball, soccer, boxing, skiing, baseball and paragliding all share the same clear goal, use both hands together and beat your best score.

Using two pens at the same time feels strange for a minute and then clicks into a fun rhythm that trains coordination. Each sport has its own timing and touch patterns, and daily training modes help you improve step by step. Custom characters and score chasing add replay value, while short sessions suit handheld play. It is a curious and charming piece of the 3DS library that tried something genuinely new. Short play sessions suit the handheld format well, yet the game also rewards long evenings when you can settle in properly.

Buying a copy today needs a little care, because the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, a local game shop or a trusted seller of used games, checked with care before you pay. Anyone who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own system today.

For the right player, this one still earns a proud place on the shelf.
