Shin Sekaiju no Meikyuu Millennium no Shoujo is the Japanese name of the game known in the west as Etrian Odyssey Untold The Millennium Girl. For the first time in the series, this edition offers a full story mode with a set party, following a young Highlander who travels to the town of Etria. There he joins a researcher, two guild members and Frederica, a girl found in ancient ruins with no memory of her past. Together they chart the great labyrinth below the town.

Exploring happens in first person, and drawing your own map on the touch screen is a core pleasure of the game. Turn based battles reward smart formations, with classes like the grimoire using Protector, the gun using Frederica and the sword swinging Highlander working as one unit. Grimoire stones let characters borrow skills from classes and even enemies, opening clever builds. Story scenes and voiced dialogue give the mapping a warm purpose, while a classic mode with a custom guild waits for traditional fans.
