Hoshi no Kirby: Triple Deluxe for Nintendo 3DS

About Hoshi no Kirby: Triple Deluxe for Nintendo 3DS

Hoshi no Kirby Triple Deluxe is the Japanese name for Kirby Triple Deluxe, the pink hero adventure set in the kingdom of Floralia. A giant beanstalk lifts Kirby home into the sky, and King Dedede is carried off by a mysterious villain named Taranza. Kirby gives chase across floating islands, copying enemy powers as he climbs toward a rescue. The adventure is colorful, funny and full of the charm that makes Kirby games so easy to love.

The big new trick is the Hypernova ability, which lets Kirby inhale with enormous force, swallowing trees, trains and huge blocks to clear his path. Classic copy abilities return alongside new ones, and levels use both screens and depth in clever ways, with enemies and hazards moving between the foreground and background. Two extra modes, a fighting game with Kirby powers and a rhythm challenge with Dedede, add plenty of extra fun after the main climb. Hidden collectibles and tough extra goals give skilled players plenty to hunt for as well.

New players often ask where this one is sold today. Since the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, nobody can buy a fresh digital copy. A retailer selling physical cartridges, new or used, is the honest place to look for a copy. Players who bought a digital copy before the closure can still access their purchased games as before. Local game shops sometimes keep quiet gems behind the counter.

Collectors still smile when they find a copy.
