Yo kai Watch 3: Sushi for Nintendo 3DS

About Yo kai Watch 3: Sushi for Nintendo 3DS

Yo Kai Watch 3 Sushi is one of the two original Japanese editions of the third game. Nate has moved to America, where BBQ country charm, new Yo Kai and a mystery involving strange visitors shape his days in St. Peanutsburg. Meanwhile Hailey Anne opens a detective agency in Springdale with Usapyon, chasing cases that tie both stories together. The Sushi edition carries its own exclusive Yo Kai and events, making it a distinct plate in a very large meal of a game.

The new grid battle system gives fights a tactical flavor, as your Yo Kai step around the field to dodge and strike. American themed areas, zombie survival nights and mini games from rafting to farming fill the space between story chapters. Version exclusives encourage trading with Tempura owners, and the amount of optional content can stretch the adventure for weeks. It is playful, generous and proudly odd, a finale that swings big ideas in every direction and lands most of them with a grin.

Sushi stayed a Japanese dish, so today's route is import based. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Physical cartridges are easy to source through import sellers and usually cost less than the western combined edition. Anyone who bought it digitally in the store era can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS as before. Pair it with a Tempura copy and the third game shows both of its faces.

A fresh roll of adventure, American sized.
