The Croods: Prehistoric Party for Nintendo 3DS
About The Croods: Prehistoric Party for Nintendo 3DS
The Croods: Prehistoric Party brings the animated film family to the 3DS for a stone age celebration. Grug, Eep and the rest of the Croods clan gather for a party of mini games set in their wild prehistoric world. Strange creatures roam the lands, and many of the games involve racing, aiming and chasing with them. The humor of the film carries into every event, with the family cheering, teasing and tumbling through the fun. It is built for laughs first and scores second.
Up to four players can join the party, taking turns or facing off in quick events. Games are short and simple, using buttons and the touch screen in easy ways that young players can grasp fast. You can play board style party events or jump straight into favorite mini games. Creature collectibles add a light goal for solo players between parties. The bright art matches the film, and the whole package works best as a family game night pick that anyone can join.

This party was sold on cartridge for family game shelves. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible today. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and it is usually an easy and cheap find. Players who owned it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system.
Stone age silliness made for family game nights.
