Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy Plus for Nintendo 3DS

About Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy Plus for Nintendo 3DS

Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy Plus is the refined edition of the 3DS jet combat game, tuned for the New Nintendo 3DS. Once again you fly as the mercenary pilot Phoenix, hired to crush a rebel uprising on the Usean continent. The campaign mixes fierce dogfights with ground attack runs and dramatic duels, and this Plus edition polishes the experience with extra control options and smoother handling for the newer hardware.

The headline extras are pure fun. Scanning amiibo figures unlocks special aircraft painted after beloved Nintendo characters, so you can patrol the skies in a jet wearing the colors of Mario, Link or other favorites. Extra buttons on the New Nintendo 3DS give finer control of your plane, while the core game keeps its close range assault system that lets you slip onto a target’s tail and finish the fight in style. It remains the version most fans point to on the system, balancing the drama of the campaign with extras that genuinely suit the newer hardware.

This enhanced edition is a cartridge hunt today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, ending new digital purchases for the game. A physical copy from a retailer is the honest way to own the Plus edition now. Pilots who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games whenever they want to fly.

The most complete version of a strong handheld Ace Combat.
