Star Fox Zero brings Fox McCloud and his team back for another battle across the Lylat System. Andross is gone, but his old forces still threaten Corneria and its allies. You fly the famous Arwing alongside Falco, Peppy and Slippy, trading jokes and warnings while enemy fleets close in. The story retells the classic conflict with fresh stages and new surprises. It feels like a Saturday morning space adventure, full of brave pilots, giant robots and narrow escapes above planets and through asteroid fields.

Flying uses both the television view and the GamePad cockpit view, which helps you aim at weak points during big fights. The Arwing can change into the Walker for ground sections, and other craft include the Landmaster tank and the small Gyrowing. Stages mix fast rail shooting with open arena battles against huge bosses. Chasing medals and hidden routes gives each mission replay value. Learning when to boost, brake and roll is the key to surviving the hardest dogfights and earning top scores.
