Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest 3: Daikaizoku to Shippo Dan for Nintendo 3DS

About Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest 3: Daikaizoku to Shippo Dan for Nintendo 3DS

Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest 3 Daikaizoku to Shippo Dan is the third outing of the beloved Rocket Slime spin off series, released only in Japan. You play a cheerful blue slime whose friends are taken by a pirate gang, and the rescue takes to the sea with a ship that works like the famous tanks of the earlier games. The world is bright and silly in classic Dragon Quest style, with famous monsters, happy music and a story that treats even its villains with a wink.

On land, the slime stretches, bounces and charges through action stages, grabbing items and enemies and tossing them where they help most. At sea, the ship battles are the main event, as you load cannons with whatever cargo you can find, fire at enemy ships and then board them for a frantic fight in the halls. Collecting crew members and better ammunition steadily grows your power. The mix of cute action and tactical ship duels gives this Japan only entry a flavor no other Dragon Quest game shares.

Buying this one needs import know how: the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer offered. A physical cartridge from Japanese game shops or import sellers is the way people usually get it today. Owners who bought the digital version before the closure can still access their purchased games on a Japanese system. The game is region locked and fully in Japanese, so plan for both facts before ordering.

A joyful sea adventure that Dragon Quest fans still treasure.
