Skylanders Giants for Nintendo 3DS

About Skylanders Giants for Nintendo 3DS

Skylanders Giants continues the toys to life adventure that began with Spyro’s Adventure. Thousands of years ago, giant Skylanders called Giants fought the robot Arkeyan empire, and now the villain Kaos is waking those machines again. By placing real toy figures on the Portal of Power, you bring heroes into the game, including huge Giants who can move massive objects and smash through barriers. The story is funny and warm, with a cast of silly friends and villains that young players quickly grow fond of.

The adventure mixes exploring, puzzle solving and cheerful combat across colorful islands. Each figure carries its own attacks and upgrades, and the toys remember their progress no matter where you play them. Giants open special feats of strength, while smaller Skylanders reach areas with their elements and skills. Levels hide treasure, hats and story scrolls for curious explorers. Swapping figures at the right moment is part of the fun, and building a small collection becomes a hobby of its own alongside the game itself.

Buying today works a little differently, since the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023 and new digital purchases ended. For this series the physical route was always the main one, so look for a game cartridge together with its Portal of Power and figures at game shops or second hand sellers. Players who had any digital content before the closure can still access their purchased games. Make sure a used set includes the portal, because the game needs it.

Giants is where the toy shelf adventure grew to full size.
