Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove for Nintendo 3DS

About Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove for Nintendo 3DS

Mystery Case Files Dire Grove sends you, a master detective, to a wintery English village where a team of young researchers has vanished near an ancient site. Snow falls over empty streets, a hotel stands abandoned mid celebration and video tapes left behind show the students growing more frightened with every recording. A local legend speaks of a hunter and a ritual tied to the bitter cold, and every hidden object scene and puzzle brings that old story closer to the present day in a very unsettling way.

The gameplay blends hidden object searches with classic adventure puzzles. You explore detailed scenes, find lists of cleverly buried items and use what you discover to open locks, repair machines and reach new areas. Found video tapes play between scenes and deepen the story, making each discovery feel like evidence in a real case. Puzzles range from simple mechanisms to layered logic tasks, and a hint system keeps the story moving when one object refuses to be found.

One honest note for new players. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Seek out a physical cartridge from a retailer and check its condition before you pay. Hidden object adventures on this system were largely digital releases, so collectors should not be surprised if a standard boxed cartridge proves hard to source. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games without any trouble.

Follow the tapes, brave the snow and do not trust the legend too late.
