Mario Party 100 Mini Game Collection for Nintendo 3DS

About Mario Party 100 Mini Game Collection for Nintendo 3DS

Mario Party 100 Mini Game Collection is the Japanese release of The Top 100, a celebration of Mario Party history on Nintendo 3DS. One hundred mini games return from the home console entries, covering the Nintendo 64, GameCube and Wii eras. Instead of one long board campaign, the package focuses on quick access to classics, with modes that string games together or let a single cartridge host multiplayer fun for nearby players.

The mini games keep their original spirit while gaining cleaner visuals and controls tuned for buttons and touch. You will race, aim, mash, balance and bluff through fan favorites, and the pacing is ideal for short sessions. Mini game Island challenges you across themed worlds, while collection and free play modes suit practice and parties. Because the games come from ten console titles, the variety is huge, moving from calm puzzles to pure chaos in seconds.

This Japanese collection was a boxed release in its home region. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible now. The honest way to play is a physical cartridge from a retailer carrying Japanese games, which suits this title well since mini games need little language skill. Owners who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and host party sessions as before.

One hundred classics under a Japanese collection name.
