Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy: Big Bang & Supernova for Nintendo 3DS

About Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy: Big Bang & Supernova for Nintendo 3DS

Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy Big Bang and Supernova are the two Japanese editions of the final GO adventure, listed here together as a pair. A new and mostly inexperienced Earth team, Earth Eleven, is gathered for a tournament that turns out to span the galaxy itself. The young players must grow fast as they face alien teams on strange planets, carrying the hopes of Earth in a contest where losing could cost the planet its future.

Galaxy takes the series systems into space. Souls are the new power here, letting players turn into mighty beasts during matches for huge plays, while recruiting now stretches across planets and species. Each edition, Big Bang and Supernova, carries exclusive teams, players and story touches, so the pair rewards fans who explore both. The journey is the most fantastical in the series, yet it keeps its heart in a group of children learning to trust one another. Few sports games dare a journey this large or this strange.

Its place in shops looks different now than it did at launch. March 2023 brought the closure of the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS, ending new digital sales for good. Look instead for a physical cartridge through a retailer or a reputable shop that sells used games. Happily, people who bought it digitally earlier can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS. A clean label and the right region make any copy safer.

It deserves a spot in 3DS history.
