Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters for Nintendo 3DS

About Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters for Nintendo 3DS

Green Lantern Rise of the Manhunters follows Hal Jordan, a test pilot chosen by a powerful ring to join the Green Lantern Corps. The Manhunters, robotic enemies of the Corps, have returned with a plan that threatens the universe. Hal must learn to use his ring while fighting beside fellow Lanterns across alien worlds. The game follows the spirit of the film, with bright constructs and big space battles from the very start.

The ring can form almost anything Hal imagines, so combat mixes guns, blades, shields and huge mechanical fists made of green light. You fight through space stations and alien cities, gain experience and unlock new constructs as your skill grows. Flying sections break up the ground battles and show off the scale of the Corps. It is a straightforward action game that lets superhero fans feel the fun of inventing weapons in the middle of a fight.

A quick note on buying today helps set honest expectations. Since the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, new digital purchases are no longer possible for this title. Look instead for a physical cartridge from a retailer or a good local games shop. Players who bought Green Lantern digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on the system they own. A complete copy with its box and manual can be a lovely addition to a shelf of Nintendo 3DS games.

It deserves its place in the Nintendo 3DS story.
