Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked opens with Tokyo placed under a strict lockdown after demons pour into the city. You play a teenager who receives a modified handheld device that can summon demons, along with a strange power to see how many days people have left to live. With friends at your side, you have one week to survive, uncover why the lockdown happened and choose a way out. This enhanced edition adds voice acting and an extra eighth day for several story paths.

Each day mixes free time story events with grid based strategy battles. Your leaders each command two demons, and extra turns reward striking weaknesses in quick turn based fights. The demon auction and fusion systems keep your roster evolving, while skill sets can be taught and shared in smart ways. Choices during the week shape which allies stay with you and which ending you reach. The eighth day content gives returning players strong reasons to play again and see their chosen path through to its real end.

A word on buying in the present day: the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so Overclocked is no longer sold there as a new digital purchase. Search for a physical cartridge instead, which game shops and online sellers still trade at fair prices.
