About Shiftlings for Nintendo Wii U

Shiftlings is a co op puzzle platformer starring two unlucky alien janitors who become stars of a reality show by accident. A fizzy drink mishap leaves one alien able to inflate to a huge size while the other stays small, and the two are joined by an air hose they cannot escape. Their workplace accidents across space stations and strange planets are broadcast for laughs, and every shift becomes a physics puzzle in disguise.

The trick is swapping which alien is inflated. The big one is heavy enough to hold switches and block lasers, while the small one fits through gaps and bounces high off his partner belly. Passing the size back and forth at the right moment solves rooms built on weight, timing and teamwork. Solo players swap control between both aliens, while co op pairs must truly cooperate, usually while laughing at the hose related disasters they cause together. The sound design deserves a mention too, with music and effects that quietly lift every scene they touch.
