Saiki Kusuo no Sainan: Shijou Saidai no Sainan for Nintendo 3DS

About Saiki Kusuo no Sainan: Shijou Saidai no Sainan for Nintendo 3DS

Saiki Kusuo no Sainan Shijou Saidai no Sainan is a Japanese action adventure based on the comedy manga and anime The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Kusuo Saiki is a teenager born with every psychic power imaginable, and all he wants is an ordinary, quiet life. Naturally, his eccentric classmates make that impossible. This game throws Saiki and his chaotic friends into an original crisis, played for the same fast jokes and deadpan reactions that made the series popular.

The adventure mixes exploration and simple action with heavy helpings of dialogue and comedy scenes. Saiki's powers, from telepathy to teleportation, feed into the situations he faces, and familiar faces from PK Academy crowd the story with their own disasters. Fans will enjoy seeing the cast in an interactive setting, while the light gameplay keeps the focus on the humor. As a Japanese only release, it also stands as a fun target for importers who love the show.

This anime adventure stayed in Japan, and time has closed doors. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from an import retailer is the route for overseas fans today. Japanese players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so Saiki's disastrous days remain playable on their systems.

It is a love letter to fans of the deadpan psychic.
