About Pyramids for Nintendo 3DS

Pyramids is a puzzle platform game set inside a booby trapped Egyptian tomb full of treasure and danger. You play an explorer who can create and remove blocks at will, a handy power when the floor is missing and the spikes are not. Using the touch screen you place blocks to form stairs and bridges, grab the treasure in each chamber and reach the exit before the tombs guardians and traps end the expedition early.

The clever part is that blocks are limited, so every placement counts and careless building can leave you stranded above a pit. Scorpions, mummies and rolling hazards patrol the chambers, and later levels ask for quick hands as well as careful plans. Medals reward fast and tidy clears, encouraging a second run at rooms you barely survived. It is a small game with a smart central idea, executed with charm and a fair level of challenge.
