Putty Squad for Nintendo 3DS
About Putty Squad for Nintendo 3DS
Putty Squad stars a little blue blob with a big heart and a very stretchy body. The evil cats have captured Putty pals across many lands, and our hero sets out to free them all, bouncing through jungles, castles and other colourful stages. The game began life long ago on classic computers and was reborn for modern systems with bright redrawn art, yet it keeps the playful spirit of the original adventure fully intact throughout.
Putty can stretch, squash flat, inflate and float, and learning when to use each form is the heart of the game. He can also absorb items, punch enemies with a stretchy fist and ride the wind in his inflated form to reach high ledges. Stages hide rescued putties in tricky corners, so explorers who poke around are rewarded. Checkpoints and friendly pacing suit younger players, while later worlds still test your timing and nerve in the best way.

New players should plan around one simple fact. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for this system at all. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge bought through a retailer you trust, checked for a clean label and working contacts. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their consoles.
A bouncy blast of classic platforming charm.
