Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon for Nintendo 3DS

About Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon for Nintendo 3DS

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon opens with a familiar shock: you are a human who has woken up as a Pokemon, in a peaceful village where young Pokemon go to school and dream of adventure. Your partner, full of energy and big dreams of joining the Expedition Society, pulls you into a life of exploring and helping others. But a dark rumor spreads across the world. Pokemon are being turned to stone, one by one, and not even legendary Pokemon are safe. Saving them becomes the heart of a surprisingly emotional story.

Dungeons are generated fresh on every visit, and every step you take lets the enemy move too, so careful positioning and smart item use matter enormously. The Connection Orb replaces simple recruitment: helping a Pokemon connects it to your network, and through it you can eventually meet all seven hundred twenty Pokemon of the era. Emeras found in dungeons slot into looplets to grant powerful effects mid run, adding tactical choice to every expedition. With a long story, a huge world map and endless jobs, this is the most generous game in the series.

New players should know the situation plainly. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon now is a physical cartridge from a retailer. Those who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system, so no loyal owner is left without a way to play.

No Pokemon gets left unrescued on this watch.
