Need for Speed The Run for Nintendo 3DS

About Need for Speed The Run for Nintendo 3DS

Need for Speed The Run is built around one huge idea, an illegal cross country race from San Francisco to New York with a life changing prize and dangerous people who want it just as badly. You play Jack Rourke, a driver with debts to the wrong crowd, and the race is his way out. The journey crosses snowy mountain passes, desert highways, farmland and city streets, with police and rivals trying to end the run at every stage. Few racing games have a sense of journey as strong as this one.

The racing is pure arcade speed. Stages are point to point battles where every position gained matters, and checkpoints keep the pressure high from start to finish. Jack occasionally leaves the car for dramatic on foot moments that break up the driving with story scenes. The handheld version trims some spectacle but keeps the route, the rivals and the feeling of a continent shrinking behind you.

Available on	Physical copies for Nintendo 3DS

Modern buyers need the physical route. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which ended new digital purchases for the whole system. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play this one now. As part of a famous racing series, this one filled shop shelves at launch, and pre owned cartridges still appear in almost every large game collection sale. If you bought a digital copy before the closure, you can still access your purchased games today.

One driver, one continent and three thousand miles of pure pressure.
