Mega Man Legacy Collection for Nintendo 3DS

About Mega Man Legacy Collection for Nintendo 3DS

Mega Man Legacy Collection gathers the six original Nintendo era Mega Man games into one careful package for Nintendo 3DS. Mega Man battles Dr Wily robot masters across icy stages, fire plants, sky fortresses and the famous disappearing block traps that defined a generation. Every game keeps its original look and feel, with clean presentation and options that let the sharp pixel art shine on the handheld screen.

Beyond the games themselves, the collection is a small museum. Galleries hold concept art, character notes and box art from the era, and a music player covers the beloved soundtracks. Challenge mode remixes stage sections into timed trials with leaderboards in mind, giving experts fresh reasons to return. The Nintendo 3DS version adds amiibo support that unlocks extra challenges, a handheld exclusive touch. For newcomers it is the ideal history lesson, and for veterans it is pure comfort.

The collection received a physical 3DS release, including a special edition in some regions. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible today. The honest way to play is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and used copies are common and fairly priced. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, museum pieces and challenge records included.

Six legends of platforming in a single cart.
