Joe's Diner is a horror adventure about the worst night shift in history. You play a worker keeping a roadside diner running through the night, serving tables and cleaning up while trying to stay calm. The problem is the land itself, since the diner stands over an old Native American burial ground and two restless chiefs are buried below. Making noise angers them, and angering them is very, very bad for you.

Gameplay mixes simple work tasks with slow building dread. You cook, clear plates and tidy the diner against the clock while keeping sound to a minimum, because loud clatter wakes the spirits. Lights flicker, doors misbehave and the tension grows as the nights roll on. It is a small and rough edged horror game, more about atmosphere and jumpy moments than deep systems, and its odd premise gives it a strange charm. Brave players with a taste for low budget scares will find a curious night here.
