Heavy Fire The Chosen Few 3D for Nintendo 3DS

About Heavy Fire The Chosen Few 3D for Nintendo 3DS

Heavy Fire The Chosen Few 3D continues the series with a new squad of hand picked soldiers. The team is sent into hostile territory where enemy forces hold strong positions in towns, forests and industrial sites. Briefings set up each operation, and the chosen few must fight through ambushes to reach their objectives. The mood is pure action cinema, with narrow escapes, heavy resistance and missions that grow tougher as the enemies bring out bigger weapons and better positions.

Gameplay keeps the proven rail shooter design of the series. You move along a set route, aim at waves of soldiers and use cover whenever the fire gets too heavy. Timing your reloads is vital, because an empty weapon at the wrong second can end a mission. Weapon pickups, grenades and destructible objects add punch to the firefights. Stages are brief but intense, and chasing cleaner runs and better ranks makes this a solid pick up and play shooter for the handheld.

Collectors should know how buying has changed in recent years. Since the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, nobody can buy a fresh digital copy. A retailer selling physical cartridges, new or used, is the honest place to look for a copy. Players who bought a digital copy before the closure can still access their purchased games as before. Ask for clear photos of the cartridge before paying any seller.

Fans still remember it fondly today.
