Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX for Nintendo 3DS

About Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX for Nintendo 3DS

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX is the Western release of the expanded Project Mirai edition. It brought the chibi Vocaloid rhythm series to Nintendo 3DS players in North America and Europe, with Miku and friends performing in nendoroid style. The song list covers many fan favorites, and the cute presentation offers a different flavor from the main Project DIVA games. For many Western fans, this was their first handheld Miku game.

You play songs using buttons or the touch screen, chasing high ranks across gentle and demanding difficulty levels. Costumes, room items and accessories reward steady play, and the room mode lets you hang out with your chosen singer, give gifts and take photos. A theater mode lets you watch performances and make playlists of favorite dances. Bright, kind and packed with songs, DX remains a lovely entry point into the world of Vocaloid rhythm games.

Shoppers should know the current situation before hunting for a copy. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases are no longer possible for Hatsune Miku. Seeking out a physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play today. If you bought the game digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games on your own system at any time. Keeping the cartridge safe and clean will help it last for many more years of play and sharing.

It keeps its charm as part of the Nintendo 3DS collection.
