Gotta Protectors for Nintendo 3DS

About Gotta Protectors for Nintendo 3DS

Gotta Protectors is an action tower defense game with a funny problem at its heart. The princess you protect insists on walking forward at all times, straight toward the enemy. Your heroes must build defenses, clear paths and fight monsters around her as she marches. The result is fast, silly and surprisingly tense, because the usual tower defense plan of sitting still and waiting simply does not work here.

You place barriers and traps, then fight beside them as waves of monsters close in. Each hero class brings different weapons and skills, and gold earned in battle improves your team between stages. Stages add new enemy types and tighter routes that test your building choices. The game comes from Ancient, the studio of composer Yuzo Koshiro, and its music has the energy and polish fans expect from his work.

Shoppers should know the current situation before hunting for a copy. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases are no longer possible for Gotta Protectors. Seeking out a physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play today. If you bought the game digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games on your own system at any time. Keeping the cartridge safe and clean will help it last for many more years of play and sharing.

It keeps its charm as part of the Nintendo 3DS collection.
