Gon: Bakubakubakubaku Adventure for Nintendo 3DS
About Gon: Bakubakubakubaku Adventure for Nintendo 3DS
Gon Bakubakubakubaku Adventure brings the wordless manga dinosaur to Nintendo 3DS. Gon is a small dinosaur with endless hunger and surprising strength, and his days are spent wandering forests, deserts and snowy lands in search of food and fun. There is no dialogue, just expressive animation as Gon headbutts rivals, devours giant meals and naps wherever he pleases. The game captures the charm of the manga in bright and playful stages.
You run, jump and stomp through side scrolling levels, using Gon and his powerful head and jaws to deal with bigger animals. Eating food restores energy and sometimes gives Gon new strength for a short while. Each area hides snacks and secrets for curious players who explore beyond the main path. Simple controls and a gentle pace make it welcoming for younger players, while fans of the manga will enjoy seeing Gon in action.

Buying this one now works a little differently than it once did. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play Gon today is a physical cartridge from a retailer. Anyone who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early owners are not locked out of their collection. Prices can vary a lot between shops, so it is worth comparing a few sellers before you decide on a copy.
It still holds a warm place in the Nintendo 3DS library.
