Chibi Robo: Photo Finder for Nintendo 3DS

About Chibi Robo: Photo Finder for Nintendo 3DS

Chibi Robo: Photo Finder is the North American name for the little robot and his camera adventure. The story begins when a curator asks Chibi Robo to help save a struggling museum by filling it with exhibits called Nostalgic Items. Each item starts life as an ordinary object in the real world around you, and your job is to spot it, frame it and photograph it so it can take pride of place in the collection.

Photo jobs arrive with an outline or a theme, and you use the system cameras to find a real object that fits. The better your match, the happier the museum visitors will be, and crowds slowly return as your exhibits grow. Exploration between jobs uses the classic Chibi Robo charm, with tiny scale platforming, hidden collectibles and short playful tasks. Special event photos and bonus requests add variety for players who want to complete the whole museum. It is slow paced and friendly, built for short sessions of creative hunting rather than fast action.

Tracking this game down now means thinking physical. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so there is no way to buy a new digital copy anymore. Look for the cartridge at a trusted retailer and check that it matches your system region. If you bought the game digitally before the closure, you can still access their purchased games library on your 3DS, in other words your earlier copy remains yours to play.

Part treasure hunt, part photo album, and completely charming.
