FreezeME for Nintendo Wii U

About FreezeME for Nintendo Wii U

FreezeME is a 3D platformer about a young girl named R and her best friend, a dog who has been kidnapped by the villain Fat the Cat. Armed with a magic camera, R sets out across colorful worlds to rescue her friend. The game is a cheerful tribute to the classic 3D platformers of the past, with open levels, collectibles and friendly characters. Its heart is in the right place, celebrating exploration and the simple joy of jumping around a bright world with a goal worth chasing.

The camera is more than a story device. Taking a picture of an object or enemy freezes it in place, and frozen things become platforms, steps or safe passages. This clever idea powers many of the puzzles and challenges across the worlds. You collect golden cubes and other rewards by exploring every corner, helping locals and beating playful challenges. Each world has its own theme and mood, and the difficulty stays welcoming for younger players while still giving collectors plenty to hunt for across long and happy sessions.

The honest facts about this cheerful platformer today are worth knowing. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, meaning new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical disc from a retailer, though copies of this indie title are uncommon. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and snap back into action.

A magic camera, a loyal mission, and worlds of color.
