Fluidity: Spin Cycle for Nintendo 3DS

About Fluidity: Spin Cycle for Nintendo 3DS

Fluidity Spin Cycle puts a pool of water in your hands on Nintendo 3DS and asks you to guide it through rooms full of traps, switches and secrets. Known as Hydroventure Spin Cycle in Europe, it is a physics puzzle game where your character is the water itself. You tilt the whole system to roll your pool around, gather drops along the way and reach each goal. The idea is simple, but the rooms quickly turn into clever little machines to think through.

Water behaves in playful ways. It can split into drops, gather into puddles, turn to ice or steam in the right conditions and squeeze through gaps no hero could fit. Each world adds fresh tricks, from sticky surfaces to fans and flames, and hidden puzzle pieces reward careful exploring. Tilting the handheld makes control feel direct and physical, and short rooms suit portable play. The bright book style art keeps everything friendly even when a room takes several thoughtful attempts to solve cleanly.

Puzzle fans should note the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for Spin Cycle. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to add it to a collection today. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS, so their water guiding skills and collected puzzle pieces remain available whenever they pick the system up again.

Tilt, flow and think like water itself.
