Drancia Saga for Nintendo 3DS

About Drancia Saga for Nintendo 3DS

Drancia Saga is a tiny action role playing game where a knight cuts through hordes of monsters in the kingdom of Drancia. The whole adventure is presented in a charming small scale style, with your hero dashing across fields and dungeons on a quest given by the king. It is cheerful, quick to learn and packed with enemies to defeat.

Combat is simple and snappy, built around moving well, striking at the right moment and collecting what monsters drop. Defeated enemies leave coins and items that help your knight grow stronger, and short quests keep the pace moving. The game shines in brief sessions, since progress always feels close and rewarding. Fans of light action games will enjoy how little time it asks and how much fun it gives back. Small details reward attention, from the way characters react to the little secrets placed for players who wander off the main path.

If you plan to pick this one up now, keep the current situation in mind. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Look instead for a physical cartridge at a retailer, in a game shop or from a trusted seller, and check the label, case and contacts before buying. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so earlier owners keep what they paid for.

Some games age into treasures, and this one is quietly becoming one.
