Disney Planes for Nintendo 3DS

About Disney Planes for Nintendo 3DS

Disney Planes brings the story of Dusty Crophopper to the Nintendo 3DS as a flying adventure for young pilots. Dusty is a crop duster with a fear of heights who dreams of racing around the world, and the game follows his journey through story missions set across the globe. Along the way you meet the films cast of planes, from the gruff Skipper to rival racers, each rendered with bright colors and plenty of personality.

Missions mix simple racing, ring flying, item delivery and light stunt work, all with controls designed so children can stay in the air without frustration. You can fly as several characters from the film, and each handles a little differently in speed and turning. The globe trotting structure keeps the scenery changing, from farmland and deserts to icy peaks. It is a gentle introduction to flight games that values fun and confidence over strict simulation. Flying through rings over famous places is a simple joy.

Young pilots will need the used games shelf for this flight. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, ending new digital purchases for good. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to take off, and copies are common and cheap. Players who bought the game digitally before that closure can still access their purchased games whenever they fancy a flight.

A kind first flight game for film fans.
