Disney DuckTales Remastered for Nintendo Wii U

About Disney DuckTales Remastered for Nintendo Wii U

Disney DuckTales Remastered is a loving remake of the beloved treasure hunting platformer. Scrooge McDuck sets out across the world, and beyond it, to find five legendary treasures before his rivals do. Huey, Dewey and Louie join the adventure, along with many familiar faces from Duckburg. Every level has been redrawn by hand with rich color and smooth animation, and the original voice cast style brings the cartoon to life. It is both a tribute to a classic and a warm welcome for a new generation of treasure hunters.

Scrooge explores with his famous pogo cane, bouncing on enemies, spikes and anything else in his path. Levels hide secrets, shortcuts and piles of treasure for players who explore every corner. Transylvania, the Himalayas, the Amazon and even the Moon each bring their own hazards and catchy music. Boss fights close every stage with a playful challenge. The remake adds story scenes and a museum of rewards, giving fans more reasons to dive back into Scrooge's money bin of memories again and again.

Here is the honest position on buying this remake today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, meaning new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical disc from a retailer, and this title did receive a disc release that collectors still trade. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and bounce back into Duckburg any time.

Life is like a hurricane here in this joyful remake.
