Bye Bye BoxBoy! for Nintendo 3DS

About Bye Bye BoxBoy! for Nintendo 3DS

Bye Bye BoxBoy is the third and final puzzle adventure of Qbby, the little square hero built from boxes. New powers and new companions join the journey, including small box children who must be guided safely through stages. The clean black and white style remains, now polished with the confidence of a series at its peak. Puzzles combine every trick from the earlier games and add fresh ones on top. It is a fond farewell that trusts players to think at a higher level.

Qbby can now make boxes with special powers, like bombs that clear blocks and rockets that carry him upward. Escorting the little ones adds a caring twist, since your boxes must form safe paths for small feet as well as your own. Crowns again reward efficient solutions, and the stages grow long and layered in the later worlds. Hints stay kind, retries stay instant and the calm music keeps frustration away. Finishing the final world feels like graduating from a school of pure cleverness.

This farewell chapter is now a cartridge find. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and a series collection edition gathered all three games in some regions. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system. That collection cartridge is the smartest hunt for new fans.

It is a warm goodbye from a small hero with big ideas.
