Bust a Move Universe for Nintendo 3DS

About Bust a Move Universe for Nintendo 3DS

Bust a Move Universe brings the beloved bubble popping puzzle series to the Nintendo 3DS with cheerful dragon duo Bub and Bob. Colored bubbles fill the top of the screen, and you aim a launcher from below to match three or more of a kind and clear them away. This entry sends the dragons hopping between themed worlds, each with its own look and playful touches. The 3D effect adds gentle depth to the bubble fields. It is simple, bright and welcoming to absolutely everyone.

Aiming is the whole art. Bank shots off the walls reach tricky spots, and a helpful guide line in some modes shows where your bubble will land. Let the pile cross the bottom line and the round ends, so calm planning beats wild firing. Boss style stages and special bubbles, like bombs and wild colors, keep the formula fresh across many rounds. High scores and quick rounds make it easy to play one more stage long after you planned to stop.

Bubble fans can still find this launch era title on cartridge. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and this one had a proper boxed release. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system. Used copies are common and usually gentle on the wallet.

It is timeless bubble popping joy with dragon charm.
