Bloodstained Curse of the Moon is a retro action platformer steeped in gothic horror. Swordsman Zangetsu swears revenge on the demons who cursed him and marches on a dark castle ruled by the demon Gremory. Along the way he meets three allies, each with powers that open new ways through the stages. The eight bit style art, heavy music and moonlit stages honor the classic monster hunting games of the past. Every screen feels like a love letter to that era.

The clever heart of the game is its party system. You can switch heroes at any moment, leaping wider with the whip wielding Miriam, flying short hops as the bat Alfred or draining magic as the vampire Gebel.
