Back to Bed for Nintendo Wii U

About Back to Bed for Nintendo Wii U

Back to Bed is a dreamy puzzle game about the hardest job in the world: keeping a sleepwalker safe. Bob sleepwalks through surreal dreamscapes full of gaps, moving hazards and strange logic. You cannot control Bob directly. Instead you play his subconscious guardian, a dog faced little creature who runs around moving objects to guide Bob back to his bed. The dream worlds look like paintings by the great surreal artists, with impossible stairs, melting clocks and floating islands everywhere you look.

Each level is a small logic puzzle. You place apples to turn Bob at corners, carry bridges over gaps and block dangerous paths before he wanders into trouble. Bob never stops moving, so thinking ahead is everything, and watching a plan work feels wonderful. Later dreams add new hazards that demand quicker hands and smarter routes. The calm music and strange beauty make it a relaxing game even when a puzzle has you stuck. It is short, sweet and completely unlike anything else in the puzzle world.

Available on	Physical copies for Nintendo Wii U

The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so buying a fresh digital copy is no longer an option today. The honest way to enjoy it now is a physical disc from a retailer who still stocks Wii U games. If you picked it up digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games on your console, since earlier purchases remain tied to your account and ready to play whenever you switch the system on.

It remains a lovely part of the Wii U story.
