Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX for Nintendo 3DS

About Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX for Nintendo 3DS

Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX takes the classic fairy tales and drops a zombie outbreak right into the middle of them. Heroes inspired by storybook legends fight through a twisted Wonderland where the undead wear familiar faces. Snow White, Dorothy and other favorites appear in a cheeky anime style that keeps the tone playful rather than grim. It is a shooting gallery adventure that treats its source material with a wink.

You aim and fire from a fixed viewpoint as waves of zombies shuffle toward you, clearing each area before moving on. Quick reactions matter, but so does choosing targets wisely when the screen fills with enemies. The DX version brings the arcade style action to the 3DS with touch friendly controls and stages suited to short bursts of play. Boss encounters and destructible scenery keep the simple formula lively from stage to stage.

Fans hunting this quirky shooter today should keep one fact in mind. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer, where such an edition was sold, is the honest route to check first. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their systems, so the Wonderland stays open to them.

It is silly, speedy shooting fun with a fairy tale twist.
