Wooden Sen'SeY is an action platformer set in a feudal Japan built from wood, paper and warm light. You play Goro, a village chief whose precious sake has been stolen by a mysterious creature from the depths. Armed with a chain axe, Goro leaps across rooftops, ships and caves to take back what is his. The silhouette style with golden backgrounds gives every stage the look of a living woodcut print. It is short, strange and full of personality, the kind of small game players remember long after bigger titles fade.

Goro fights with fast swings of his chain weapon, striking enemies and grabbing distant points to swing across gaps. Levels mix combat with climbing and careful jumps, and later stages add moving hazards that demand patience. Hidden bottles of sake reward players who explore side paths and take risks.
