Toto Temple Deluxe for Nintendo Wii U

About Toto Temple Deluxe for Nintendo Wii U

Toto Temple Deluxe is a local multiplayer party game about chasing a goat in ancient temples. One player grabs the goat and tries to keep it, earning points while holding on, while everyone else dashes, jumps and bumps to steal it away. The temples are small arenas full of platforms and hazards, so the chase never slows down. Matches last only a few minutes, yet they fill a room with laughter and playful grudges. There are no complicated rules to teach, which makes it perfect when friends visit.

Movement is the star here. Characters can dash in mid air, changing direction suddenly to dodge a rival or cut off the goat carrier. Coins scattered around the arena add bonus points and risky detours. When the goat holder stays ahead too long, the temple itself joins the hunt with hazards that shake up the chase. Different arenas change the flow with moving parts and new layouts. Solo players can practice against computer rivals, but the game truly shines with four people on one screen, each plotting revenge after every steal.

Party classics like this deserve a spot on the shelf. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible today. Look for a physical disc from a retailer if one is available, since this title began life as a small release. Anyone who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and host temple chases as before.

Few party games create this much joyful chaos this quickly.
