The First Skunk Bundle for Nintendo Wii U
About The First Skunk Bundle for Nintendo Wii U
The First Skunk Bundle gathers three small games from Skunk Software into a single Wii U package. The collection is led by Haunted Hotel, a spooky adventure, joined by Snake Classics and the checkers style strategy of Catchy. Each game is simple and modest in scope, aimed at players who enjoy small experiences without big demands. Bundles like this were a charming part of the Wii U shop, giving tiny studio projects a home on a big screen and offering curious players variety.
Haunted Hotel provides the main adventure, asking you to explore eerie rooms and solve light puzzles. Snake Classics reworks the timeless snake idea with a clean presentation, while Catchy offers calm tactical play based on capturing pieces. Moving between three such different games keeps the bundle fresh in short sessions. None of the three aims for spectacle, and that honesty is part of the appeal. It is a small collection for relaxed evenings, best suited to players who enjoy simple ideas done plainly and who like trying a little.

Shopping for this one takes a physical route now. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, meaning new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to enjoy The First Skunk Bundle is a physical disc from a retailer or a well reviewed second hand seller. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Wii U. Always check that the disc is clean and the case matches the region.
It earns a proud place in any Wii U collection.
