Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze for Nintendo 3DS

About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze for Nintendo 3DS

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze takes the brothers on a bigger adventure through a connected New York City. Shredder is building a mutant army with a dangerous new ooze, and the turtles must explore the city to stop him. Unlike a simple level by level brawler, this game opens one large map where new abilities unlock new paths. You will revisit areas with fresh powers and find secrets that were out of reach before, which gives the hunt a satisfying flow.

All four turtles join the mission, and you can swap between them as you explore and fight. Each brother brings tools that open different routes, so learning who does what is part of the puzzle. Combat stays snappy, with combos and special attacks for crowds of Foot Clan soldiers and mutants. Hidden collectibles reward players who search every corner of the map. The hand drawn look gives the city a comic book feel, and the writing keeps the brothers banter sharp and funny throughout.

Danger of the Ooze was sold on cartridge and digitally during the 3DS era. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible now. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play it today, and copies still turn up in game shops. If you bought the digital version before the closure, you can still access your purchased games on your own system.

A turtle adventure with a big map and bigger mutant trouble.
