Tank Troopers for Nintendo 3DS

About Tank Troopers for Nintendo 3DS

Tank Troopers is a bright tank action game from Nintendo where every tank carries a crew of oddball troopers. Each trooper brings a wild ability, from paint shots that blind enemy sights to electric attacks that stall rival tanks. Battles take place on open fields where teams roll, aim and blast in cheerful chaos. The cast is full of personality, and their chatter gives every match a playful feel. It is a shooter with a smile, built for quick and lively fights.

The single player campaign strings together missions with clear goals, teaching you to mix troopers for the job at hand. Choosing the right crew changes how a battle flows, since abilities can heal allies, boost speed or wreck enemy plans. Multiplayer battles let friends clash in local matches full of ambushes and comebacks. Controls use the sticks and motion aiming options, so lining up a long shot feels satisfying. Bright maps and short matches keep the energy high from the first shell to the last.

Tank Troopers was sold digitally on the 3DS in the west. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible today. Players who bought it before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system. Since there was no western cartridge, finding a used 3DS with the game installed is now the honest way for new players to join the crew.

Cheerful tank mayhem with the oddest crews in gaming.
