About Shin Tennis no Ouji sama: Go to the Top for Nintendo 3DS

Shin Tennis no Ouji sama Go to the Top brings the world of The Prince of Tennis to the Nintendo 3DS in a game made for fans of the manga and anime. You follow young tennis players at a competitive school setting, where training, friendships and rivalries matter as much as the matches themselves. The Prince of Tennis is famous for dramatic matches and larger than life special shots, and this game leans into that spirit with story scenes between the tennis action.

The experience mixes school life scenes with tennis play. You talk with teammates and rivals, build relationships through choices and events, and then step onto the court to put your training to work. Matches keep the series flavor, with rallies, positioning and special techniques named after the flashy moves fans know well. Character art and voices will please long time followers, while simple systems keep the focus on the story. It is best enjoyed as a fan piece with light sports play woven through.

Shopping guidance for today is simple: the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so this title cannot be bought new in digital form anymore. A physical cartridge is the route to take, and Japanese game shops and import sellers are the usual sources. Those who bought the digital version before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS. As a Japan only release, expect Japanese text throughout the game.

Fans will enjoy spending school days with this famous cast.
