Project X Zone is a dream crossover where heroes and villains from Sega, Capcom and Bandai Namco series spill into one tangled story. A stolen stone that opens portals between worlds pulls everyone together, from Ryu and Ken to Mega Man X, Zero and the cast of Tekken and Tales. Chapters jump between famous locations as teams form, split and reunite, and the sheer joy of seeing these characters trade lines carries the whole adventure.

Battles take place on tactical grids, but when your pair unit attacks, the action zooms into a lively brawler where you chain attacks, juggle enemies in the air and call in a nearby support unit for extra hits. Solo units add special skills, and cross hits reward perfect timing with huge damage. Positioning, support ranges and well built teams decide the tough fights. It is fanservice with real strategy underneath, and the sprite art looks wonderful throughout.
