Pokemon Rumble World for Nintendo 3DS

About Pokemon Rumble World for Nintendo 3DS

Pokemon Rumble World shrinks the Pokemon world into a kingdom of wind up toys. The king of this tiny land is jealous of a magician whose toy Pokemon collection outshines his own, so he sends you out to build a collection worthy of the crown. You travel by hot air balloon to wild stages where toy Pokemon roam in crowds, and defeating them sometimes convinces them to join your team on the spot. The story is silly and light, and the toy box presentation gives every battle a cheerful clatter.

Combat is simple and fast. Your toy Pokemon attacks automatically as you steer it through the stage, and swapping between collected Pokemon mid battle lets you match types against whatever crowd surrounds you. Bosses wait at the end of each area, and rare stages can yield powerful or shiny looking finds for your collection. Balloons decide where you can travel, with new ones opening fresh lands to raid. As a free to start game it was built for short, happy sessions, and its hundreds of collectible toy Pokemon gave completionists a long and gentle hunt.

If you want Pokemon Rumble World now, start with game shops rather than the old store page. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play today. Anyone who picked it up digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own Nintendo 3DS.

Small toys, big battles, endless collecting fun.
